Step into a pivotal role as a Maintenance Foreman in a mine near Cedar City, Utah, where your leadership and industrial maintenance expertise will drive the success of our mining operations. This is more than a job—it's a chance to oversee vital maintenance activities that keep our sulfide and oxide copper processing circuits running at peak efficiency. As the Maintenance Foreman, you’ll lead and mentor a dedicated team of maintenance technicians and mechanics, ensuring that all plant equipment, from crushers to flotation cells, operates smoothly. Your day-to-day involves planning and coordinating maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and implementing preventative maintenance schedules to reduce downtime. In addition to hands-on leadership, you’ll play a key role in promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Your eye for detail will be essential in managing spare parts inventory and staying within budgetary constraints, while your strategic mindset will drive continuous improvement in our maintenance processes. Your background in industrial maintenance, especially in a mining environment, equips you with the knowledge to handle complex equipment and lead your team to success. With a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and reliability, you’re not just maintaining equipment—you’re enhancing our entire operation. Your ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across departments will be crucial in optimizing plant performance. Required Education and Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role. Proven experience in a mining environment, particularly with sulfide and oxide copper processing circuits. High school diploma or equivalent required. Preferred Education and Experience An associate’s degree or technical certification in industrial maintenance, mechanical engineering, or a related field is preferred. Certifications in areas such as welding, electrical work, or HVAC systems are advantageous. Over five years of supervisory experience in a related field/industry.
