Marketing Manager, Events & Content
Position OverviewRobinson Unmanned is seeking a versatile, hands-on Marketing Manager, Events & Content to support brand visibility, product awareness, event execution, and sales enablement across a growing portfolio of unmanned aircraft systems.Reporting to the VP of Marketing Communications, this role will help plan and execute integrated marketing programs with a strong emphasis on trade shows and events, content development, and social media management. The ideal candidate is an organized, proactive marketing professional with 5 or more years of professional marketing experience who can manage timelines and vendors, collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners, and produce clear, compelling content across multiple channels.This is an opportunity for a motivated marketer to own high-impact initiatives in a fast-paced, evolving environment. The right person will be comfortable balancing structure and flexibility, contributing strategically while also executing day-to-day work, and helping transform ideas, product information, and event activity into polished, effective marketing outputs.Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Marketing & ExecutionLead planning and execution for trade shows, conferences, customer events, and other marketing-led activations. Own event timelines, deliverables, logistics, vendor coordination, promotional materials, shipping, and on-site readiness. Partner with internal stakeholders to align event goals, messaging, product positioning, and supporting materials. Support pre-, on-site, and post-event promotion to maximize the value of event participation. Help reduce lift on senior leadership by taking ownership of event-related planning and execution. Content DevelopmentDevelop and produce high-quality marketing content across print and digital channels, including social media posts, email copy, event materials, one-pagers, presentations, sales support materials, product collateral, blog posts, articles, and other brand communications as required. Translate technical product and market information into clear, audience-relevant messaging for defense, public safety, industrial, and commercial audiences. Partner with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to gather inputs and turn ideas into effective content. Proofread, edit, and refine content to ensure clarity, consistency, accuracy, and brand alignment. Support multimedia content development, including graphics, short-form video, photography coordination, and simple video editing as needed. Preferred but not required. Social Media & Content Calendar ManagementManage and maintain an integrated content calendar for social media, events, campaign support, and related marketing and advertising activities. Drive a more consistent social media presence through content planning, drafting, publishing coordination, and performance tracking. Repurpose event, product, PR, and thought leadership content into social and digital formats that extend reach and reinforce messaging. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners to maintain a timely, relevant flow of content. Cross-Functional Coordination & Program SupportWork closely with sales/business development, product, leadership, and external agency partners to align marketing execution with business priorities. Help brief and coordinate external partners, including PR, creative, and web resources, by providing direction, inputs, timelines, and content. Ensure marketing deliverables stay organized and progress in a timely manner in a fluid, fast-paced environment. Support product launches, announcements, campaigns, and strategic communications initiatives as needed. Reporting & OptimizationWork with partners to track and report on key marketing metrics related to events, social media, and content engagement. Use insights to refine content approaches, improve execution, and help prioritize an d improve future marketing efforts. Stay informed on industry trends, channel best practices, and relevant tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Public Relations, Graphic Design, or related fields. 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, content marketing, event marketing, or integrated marketing roles. Demonstrated experience planning and executing trade shows, conferences, or other marketing events. Strong writing, editing, and messaging skills, with the ability to adapt content for different audiences and formats. Experience managing social media content and calendars for a B2B brand. Ability to develop marketing content independently while collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners. Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Comfort working in a dynamic, evolving environment where priorities may shift. Experience supporting technical, industrial, aerospace, defense, and/or manufacturing, or similarly complex B2B offerings is strongly preferred. Experience with design and content tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Premiere Pro, or similar platforms is preferred. Familiarity with marketing performance tracking and reporting. Proficiency with Microsoft Office required.
