We are a dynamic and growing contract manufacturing company based in Liberty Hill, TX, providing comprehensive engineering and design-for-manufacturability (DFM) services out of China, coupled with high-quality manufacturing and import services. Our diverse manufacturing capabilities include plastic injection molding, metal stamping, CNC machining, die casting, tooling design, welding/metal fabrication, powder coating, assembly services, and more. Our goal is to offer end-to-end solutions for our clients, from design and prototyping to full-scale production and importing the final products into the U.S.
We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Representative to expand our business footprint by establishing new relationships with clients in need of reliable contract manufacturing services. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a global supply chain and a strong team of engineers and manufacturing experts.
Position Summary:
As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving new business development and building long-term client relationships. You will leverage your sales expertise, industry knowledge, and understanding of contract manufacturing to identify and convert leads into long-term partnerships. You will collaborate closely with our engineering and production teams in China to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth project execution. This role will be compensated through a base salary plus commission.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and prospect new business opportunities within various industries that require manufacturing solutions.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, decision-makers, and industry influencers.
Communicate and collaborate with our China-based engineering and production teams to provide tailored solutions to customer needs.
Understand client requirements, including technical and product specifications, and effectively communicate these to internal teams.
Manage and maintain a sales pipeline, tracking leads and opportunities through the sales cycle.
Conduct client meetings, product presentations, and negotiations to secure new contracts.
Stay updated on industry trends, manufacturing technologies, and competitor offerings to strategically position our services.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and issue resolution throughout the production process.
Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the company's overall growth objectives.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Sales Representative in the manufacturing, engineering services, or a related industry.
In-depth knowledge of contract manufacturing processes, especially within plastic injection molding, metal stamping, CNC machining, and similar production capabilities.
Strong understanding of engineering and DFM services with the ability to communicate technical specifications and project requirements.
Experience working with overseas manufacturing partners, preferably in China, with knowledge of import logistics and global supply chains.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships with clients.
Demonstrated success in business development and achieving sales targets.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients or visit manufacturing facilities.
Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple client projects simultaneously.
Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience selling engineering services and contract manufacturing solutions.
Established network within industries that utilize contract manufacturing, such as automotive, aerospace, electronics, or consumer goods.
Ability to understand complex technical drawings and communicate them to both clients and internal teams.
Compensation:
This position offers a competitive base salary plus commission structure. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and performance.
