ASSOCIATE VETERINARIAN

We are currently looking to add a compassionate and skilled Associate Veterinarian to our team. As part of our team, you'll work with the latest technology, gain access to state-of-the-art training facilities, and collaborate with a positive team to deliver the highest quality of care to the pet patients we all love.ResponsibilitiesExamine and diagnose diseases and injuries of pets (primarily dogs and cats), and treat surgically or medicallyCollaborate within our veterinary ecosystem, and communicate with referring veterinariansParticipate in ongoing education, seminars, and training to stay at the top of your fieldWorking with a Regional Operations Manager and the Hospital Manager to achieve high standards and provide superior patient careAdminister core vaccinations and counsel clients in well petPerform dentalsContribute to making our workplace enjoyable for all: staff, clients, and petsExcel in managing time, prioritizing tasks, and thriving in a fast-paced environmentRequirementsMust hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution2+ years of experience practicing veterinary medicine in a Veterinary Hospital setting is preferred however, new graduates will be consideredInternship training is also preferred, but not requiredEligible to obtain Connecticut State Veterinary License
