Key Account Manager: Inside Sales
Position SummaryDelva Tool & Machine is seeking a Key Account manager for our Cinnaminson, NJ location. The Key Account manager will serve as the strategic relationship owner for some of Delva's most important and complex customer accounts. You'll work directly with customers, operations, engineering, estimating, and leadership to ensure successful program execution while identifying opportunities for long-term growth. What You’ll OwnOwn and manage strategic customer relationships across multiple levels of customer organizationsLead customer business reviews, including delivery performance, quality metrics, capacity planning, and growth opportunitiesDevelop and execute account strategies designed to grow revenue and strengthen long-term partnershipsNegotiate pricing, long-term agreements, and commercial terms alongside company leadershipProactively identify customer risks, supply chain challenges, and new program opportunities before they become problemsCoordinate internally with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Scheduling to ensure successful execution of customer programsServe as the internal advocate for customer needs while balancing operational realitiesMonitor market trends, customer developments, and competitor activity to help drive business strategyMentor junior Account Representatives and Account Managers on communication, quoting, and customer management best practicesRepresent Delva during customer visits, trade shows, and industry events as neededSupport quoting activity, customer forecasting, production planning, and long-term program management What You Bring5+ years of experience in account management, customer management, inside sales, business development, or program management within manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or precision machining environmentsStrong understanding of CNC machining, manufacturing processes, materials, and production workflowsExperience managing complex customer relationships and navigating high-pressure situations professionallyAbility to communicate effectively with both customers and cross-functional internal teamsStrong commercial awareness with the ability to balance customer expectations against operational capabilitiesHighly organized with strong follow-through and attention to detail Benefits and PerksOur comprehensive benefits package includes, but is not limited to, a competitive pay rate, accrued vacation time, paid holidays, 401(k) with company match, health, dental, and vision insurance as well as Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, and life/AD&D insurance.
