.NET Core Software Developer:
ATEC is looking for a .NET Core Software Developer to support the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) RMLS applications. RMLS is the FAA?s logging system for recording maintenance work performed on facilities in the National Airspace System (NAS). RMLS provides a rich database of unstructured text; reading every log file.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Provide 2nd Level Engineering support for RMLS.
Troubleshoot, debug, maintain and improve existing software using the back-end and front-end technologies listed above.
End-user functionality support.
Attend system design reviews, technical interchange meeting, and any other meetings as requested to support program and team.
Work in an agile team environment.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:
Required:
Excellent knowledge/experience in:
Back-end Technologies: .Net Core, ASP.NET, Model-View-Controller (MVC), and Web services
Front-end Technologies: JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, and AJAX.
Knowledge/experience in writing database queries and procedures using Procedural Language / Structured Query Language (PL/SQL).
Ability to:
Work independently, as well as a team.
Research and problem solve.
Communicate effectively through verbal and written communication.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge/experience in:
Back-end Technologies: Oracle Schedule Jobs, Oracle Queues, PP, Python, and Web server-side (Apache/IIS)
Front-end Technologies: Angular
EDUCATION/YEARS of EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Math, or a Bachelor?s degree in another technical field with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science and twelve (12) years of related work experience in a computer science or math field
OR
Master?s Degree in any field of study with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours of either undergrad or grad study in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science and nine (9) years related work experience in a computer science or math field.
SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:
US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US
Applicants selected will be subject to a government investigation
Has been living in the US for at least the past 3 years
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Located at the William J. Hughes Technical Center; cubicle environment.
Full-time position with a standard flexible work schedule.
Occasional travel.
PAY RANGE:
$80,000 ? $92,000
