The Contents Manager is responsible for overseeing all personal property (contents) involved in restoration projects, including pack-out, inventory, cleaning, storage, and pack-back. Daily tasks include coordinating field crews during pack-outs, documenting and tagging items using inventory software, and ensuring accurate tracking of all contents from the job site to storage and back to the customer. The role involves assessing item conditions, determining appropriate cleaning or restoration methods, and working closely with technicians to maintain quality standards and efficiency. The Contents Manager also communicates with customers, insurance representatives, and internal project managers to provide updates, address questions, and ensure that timelines, documentation, and service expectations are met. Additional responsibilities may include maintaining warehouse organization, monitoring supplies and equipment, following safety and compliance procedures, and training team members on contents handling best practices.Qualifications Experience managing contents or inventory in restoration, moving, warehousing, logistics, or a related field, with strong organizational and documentation abilities.Proficiency using digital tools and inventory or job management software to track items, update records, and generate reports.Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and empathetically with clients during stressful situations.Knowledge of or willingness to learn restoration and cleaning techniques for contents affected by water, fire, smoke, or mold, including handling of fragile or high-value items.Ability to lead and coordinate field crews, delegate tasks, and ensure adherence to quality, safety, and company standards.Capacity to perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, packing, and moving contents, often in varied site conditions.Attention to detail and problem-solving skills for resolving discrepancies in inventories, labels, and documentation.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certifications in restoration, inventory management, or related areas are a plus.Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites within the Atlanta Metropolitan Area.Ability
