LAUNDRY TECHNICIAN LEAD

National disaster restoration company specializing in the restoration of both commercial and residential laundry and dry cleaning is seeking a reliable, intelligent, and diligent Textile Department Laundry / Dry Cleaning Attendant to join our team. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Technician to follow and perform the operations of our cleaning and laundering services within a warehouse environment, to also include pick up and delivery residential and commercial environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction. This role is essential in ensuring that all cleaning processes are executed efficiently and effectively while working with a team of technicians. Duties - Follow daily operations of the cleaning team, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. - Train new staff on proper cleaning techniques, equipment usage, and safety protocols. - Perform laundering process, ensuring all items are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standard. - Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas, including laundry facilities and storage areas. - Conduct regular inspections of cleaned items to ensure quality control and address any issues promptly. - Collaborate with management to develop efficient workflows and improve service delivery. - Handle any customer inquiries or complaints regarding cleaning services with professionalism and care. - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all cleaning operations. Requirements - Proven experience in a lead technician or supervisory role is preferred. - Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment used in dry cleaning and laundering processes. - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. - Strong communication skills to effectively lead a team and interact with customers in the field for pick up and delivery of textiles. - Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results. - Ability to work flexible hours on occasion to include evening and weekends as needed. - A clean background check is required prior to employment. - Computer knowledge and strengths in multi-tasking and prioritizing - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills - Valid Drivers License with satisfactory driving record - Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred - Ability to lift 50 pounds with assistance Join our team as a Lead Textile Technician where your expertise will contribute significantly to our commitment to excellence in service delivery!
