You know how to run a water or fire job from first notice of loss to final invoice. You write Xactimate scopes, you manage crews and subs, and you know how to move a file forward with an adjuster without losing the relationship. THE OPPORTUNITYWe are hiring a Restoration / Mitigation Project Manager based out of our Salem, MA office. You will own a portfolio of Massachusetts jobs — managing field crews, communicating with insurance adjusters and property owners, writing and negotiating Xactimate and Symbility scopes, and making sure every project closes on time, on budget, and to standard.Total compensation is $90,000 – $110,000 (base salary plus performance bonus), which reflects what we expect from this role: experienced, independent, and accountable. This is not a training position. We need someone who already knows how restoration jobs run.What You Will DoManage water damage mitigation, fire/smoke restoration, and mold remediation projects from initial response through job closeServe as the primary contact for property owners, insurance adjusters, and TPAs throughout the project lifecycleWrite, submit, and negotiate Xactimate and Symbility scopes, supplements, and change ordersSchedule, direct, and supervise field crews and subcontractors across active Massachusetts job sitesConduct moisture mapping, psychrometric readings, and daily monitoring documentation on mitigation jobsEnsure all work meets IICRC S500 and S520 standards and carrier program requirementsMaintain complete, real-time job documentation: photos, moisture readings, daily logs, authorizations, and certificates of completionCommunicate proactively with adjusters and TPAs to move files forward and avoid approval delaysManage materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs to protect job-level gross marginIdentify and capture supplemental scope on active jobsParticipate in the on-call rotation for after-hours emergency responseRequirementsMinimum 3 years of hands-on project management experience in the property restoration industry — water, fire, or mold (not general construction)Demonstrated experience writing and managing Xactimate or Symbility estimatesWorking knowledge of IICRC S500 (WRT) and S520 (AMRT) standardsExperience managing insurance adjuster and TPA relationships and navigating the carrier billing processValid driver's license with a clean driving record — required to operate company vehiclesClean background — background check is a condition of employmentAbility to meet the physical demands of the role: lifting, working in confined or wet environments, wearing appropriate PPEStrongly PreferredActive IICRC WRT, ASD, or AMRT certificationExperience with carrier preferred vendor / TPA programs (Contractor Connection, Alacrity, PSA, or similar)OSHA 10 or OSHA 30Prior SERVPRO system experienceCompensation & BenefitsTotal compensation: $90,000 – $110,000 — base salary plus performance bonus tied to job cycle time, close rate, and gross marginCompany vehicle or vehicle allowanceHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with employer matchPaid time offCompany-paid IICRC training and recertification — we invest in your credentialsWHY SERVPRO TEAM JRFYear-round, consistent volume through insurance carrier relationships — not seasonal swings or storm-chasingNational brand, local ownership — you are a name here, not a numberOwners and leadership who came up in the trades and understand what a field PM actually needs to succeedReal advancement opportunity as the company continues to grow across Massachusetts and New HampshireWe pay for certifications and training that directly increase your earning potential and market value$90,000–$110,000 total comp for a role that earns it — no games, no vague "competitive salary"How To ApplyApply through this posting with your resume or a summary of your restoration experience — where you have worked, what types of jobs you have managed, and what certifications you hold.
