Infrastructure Investment Associate/Sr.Associate - Energy Transition & Power

Madison Hunt is partnering with an infrastructure investment platform focused on essential infrastructure and energy transition. The firm invests in operational assets positioned to benefit from evolving demand patterns, grid modernization, and long-term electrification trends including AI data centers, industrial loads, and critical infrastructure serving changing environmental conditions.Responsibilities:Support M&A, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships for utility-scale power generation and essential infrastructure across dispatchable generation, renewables, storage, water, and critical systemsLead project finance structuring including construction/term debt, tax equity, mezzanine financing, and back-leverage; negotiate financing agreements with banks, institutional lenders, and strategic partnersBuild financial models (asset-level DCF, project finance, M&A), prepare investment committee materials, and coordinate transaction executionEvaluate acquisition targets across energy transition and essential infrastructure, conduct due diligence, and support portfolio integrationIdeal Candidate:2-4 years in infrastructure investing, private equity, project finance, or energy investment banking with power generation and capital markets exposureStrong financial modeling capabilities including project finance structures, M&A, and complex capital solutionsUnderstanding of power markets, thermal generation economics, renewable project finance, and infrastructure trends
