Job Description2026 ESY Special Education TeacherPRE-KINDERGARTEN DEVELOPMENTAL MINI MIPA TEACHER AT INNOVATION ELEMENTARY SCHOOLSummer School Dates: July 6, 2026 through July 31, 2026Important Note: Professional Days and Orientation: July 1st and 2ndQualifications:Must hold a valid license (or provisional license) in special educationKnowledge of best practices and experience teaching students with autism spectrum disordersKnowledge of the academic, social, and emotional needs of students with autism spectrum disordersExperience:Teaching students with autism spectrum disordersWorking with a variety of ability /grade levels (classes are multi-graded)Responsibilities Include:Plan, organize and implement appropriate instruction in the areas of motor skills, language, self-help skills, and personal independenceAdapt instruction, assignments and curriculum depending on the needs of the studentsCollect data on student critical life skill goalsProvide accommodations and modifications for students as neededWorking collaboratively with school staff, student services staff, and familiesPlan and organize activities to be carried out by an assistant if assignedConsiderations for hire:All applicants must complete a pre-interview questionnaire linked here https://forms.gle/kmrwV2F6FeD72eDq9Once you have been hired, then you will need to sign your contract and return it to HR through the link they send you.
