VP M&A Tax Attorney

We are working on a unique VP of Tax opportunity with a market-leading broker in the tax insurance space. This hire will play a key role in advising clients on the structuring and placement solutions, supporting complex M&A transactions, tax credit investments, and broader risk management initiatives. The position sits within a highly specialized group comprised largely of former practicing tax attorneys and offers direct exposure to sophisticated deals and top-tier clients.This is an entrepreneurial role with strong visibility, where the right individual will help drive broader adoption of tax insurance across an established client base while also contributing to new business development efforts.Key ResponsibilitiesStructure and place tax insurance solutions for a range of transactional and strategic use casesPartner closely with internal deal teams, producers, and client stakeholdersSupport business development initiatives and help expand the use of tax insurance across new and existing clientsRepresent the platform at industry events and conferencesIdeal BackgroundJD required3–7+ years of experience within Big LawExperience advising on the tax aspects of business transactions (M&A experience a plus)Client-facing experience with a demonstrated ability to build relationships and credibilityStrong professional network within the legal, tax, or deal communityExcellent communication skills and a high level of autonomyFor more information regarding this position or other opportunities please reach out to kelly.griffin@jcwgroup.com.
