Position SummaryPerform inspections of purchased parts, subassemblies or finished products according to well defined criteria using standard physical, mechanical and/ or electrical measurementsConduct and document process and system audits using written procedures as audit standardsAccurately document the results of the inspections and testingMaintain controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate mannerMonitor critical equipment and instrumentation to ensure proper operation and calibrationAssist in the performing and updating inspection procedures, protocol and checklistsAssists in the definition of Critical to Quality (CTQ) characteristicsEvaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective actionWork with production management to provide feedback regarding accuracy proceduresPosition RequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred2 years of QA/QC experience is requiredMust have good English written and verbal communication skillsGood analytical skills are requiredWorking knowledge of measurement instruments requiredMechanical aptitude requiredAbility to read, understand and interpret engineering drawings requiredGeneral proficiency of Microsoft Excel and WordExperience with machining, sheet metal, or electronics assembly highly preferredMainstream Engineering Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
