This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their work and wants to play a meaningful role in a dynamic, multi-entity environment.Job Description:The Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations and assisting leadership with financial reporting and analysis. This role will handle a variety of accounting functions across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all financial processes.Key Responsibilities:• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and adjustments • Perform account reconciliations, including bank and general ledger reconciliations • Complete CAM (Common Area Maintenance) reconciliations and support real estate-related accounting activities • Assist with billing processes and limited collections activities • Support lease-related accounting tasks and maintain accurate financial records • Gather and analyze financial data to support reporting and decision-making • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes • Work closely with the Controller and CFO on ad hoc projects and financial analysis • Maintain accuracy across multiple entities and ensure proper documentation • Utilize accounting software systems (such as RealPage or similar platforms) for daily operationsQualifications:Education & Experience:• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred • 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity environment • Experience in real estate or property accounting is a plus but not requiredTechnical Skills:• Experience with accounting software (RealPage, Yardi, or similar systems preferred) • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial processesCore Competencies:• Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to manage multiple entities and priorities simultaneously • Strong organizational and time management skills • Effective communication and ability to work closely with leadership • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently • Problem-solving mindset and adaptability in a growing environment#30744
