Coordinate schedules with students and teammates while reviewing your patient list.Patients arrive: some are new intakes with a student, others are medication follow-ups initiated by a mental health technician. Each session is powered by AI-assisted charting: you record, "push," and move on.Most patient slots are 10 minutes every 30 minutes. Complex or high-risk patients take longer. You make rapid medical decisions, sometimes handling suicidal or violent patients—with support from the team.Throughout the day, you collaborate, mentor students, and contribute to a high-performing team. You finish knowing you impacted dozens of patients while staying supported and resilient.This is fast-paced and challenging—but deeply rewarding for PMHNPs who thrive on efficiency, teamwork, and tangible patient results.
