Job Description Physical Therapist Location: Northern California 3 openings in the Northern California region Employment Type: Direct Hire | Onsite Compensation: $95,000 - $115,000 annually (based on experience, location, and seniority) Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 - $20,000 (paid out after 1 year; no payback required) Relocation: Will consider relocation assistance (expense depends on location and costs) Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMOverview Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking Physical Therapists across four Northern California locations. In this role, you will provide evaluations, treatment plans, and rehabilitative care to patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, and other physical conditions. You will help patients restore function, improve mobility, and enhance quality of life while working within a collaborative healthcare environment. This role is open to new graduates.Responsibilities Deliver high-quality patient care services and perform direct evaluations. Develop individualized treatment programs to maximize patient recovery and function. Perform and/or delegate patient treatment including modalities, therapeutic exercises, gait training, and hydrotherapy. Educate patients on care techniques, supports, and exercise programs. Ensure accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes. Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care. Provide timely communication on patient progress, compliance, and expected discharge. Maintain compliance with licensing, certification, and accrediting standards. Support professional development through training, mentoring, and participation in educational opportunities. Promote safety, efficiency, and quality standards in patient care delivery. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program (Doctorate preferred). Licensure: Active Physical Therapy license in California (or eligibility to obtain). Experience: New graduates up to 5 years of experience or less; orthopedic/outpatient experience preferred. PTLA (Physical Therapist Licensed Applications) will be considered as well. Skills & Competencies: Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to manage patient care records, reports, and treatment documentation. Proficiency in time management, planning, and workload control.
