We maintain a fine lineup of world-class products, and even more importantly, a strong team of world-class people.Position Summary:As a Cashier, you will be responsible for balancing and finalizing daily delivery routes, including processing payments, reconciling invoices, and ensuring all route documentation is accurate and complete. Follow the link below: https://hensley.com/Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:Balance and reconcile daily delivery routes, including checks, credit transactions, and invoicesReview and verify route paperwork for accuracy, completeness, and timely submissionProcess customer payments and ensure accurate posting to accountsIdentify, research, and resolve discrepancies, shortages, and payment issuesSupport drivers with route settlements, paperwork, and payment questionsCommunicate with Accounts Receivable regarding credits, short payments, and outstanding balancesCoordinate with Operations, Sales, Warehouse, and customers on account or delivery issuesMaintain organized records, reports, and daily balancing documentationAssist with month-end reconciliation and reporting as neededFollow all cash handling procedures, financial controls, and company policiesEscalate unresolved discrepancies or concerns to management in a timely mannerRequired Skills and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious cashiering, accounting, bookkeeping, or office experience preferredStrong math, reconciliation, and data entry skillsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong communication and customer service skillsProficient in Microsoft Office and ability to learn internal systemsAbility to multitask, prioritize, and meet daily deadlinesReliable attendance and punctualityHensley Benefits:Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance plus EAP, 401K, Tuition ReimbursementPTO - Paid time offSafe Ride Home- Cab ride or UBER reimbursement
