Location: Napanee, INWork Arrangement: Fully OnsiteSalary: $100,000–$125,000Position SummaryWe are seeking a strategic and hands-on Controller to lead the financial operations of the organization. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an analytical accounting professional who understands how financial performance connects to costing, margins, budgeting, forecasting, and operational decision-making.The ideal candidate will be a strong leader who can manage the accounting function while partnering closely with operations and executive leadership to improve profitability, strengthen processes, and support continued growth.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the accounting and finance function, including month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls.Own the annual budgeting and forecasting process, providing leadership with meaningful financial insight and recommendations.Analyze cost structures, margins, variances, and profitability to identify opportunities for improvement.Partner with operations and senior leadership to understand business performance and drive financially sound decisions.Develop and maintain financial reporting, dashboards, and KPIs that provide clear visibility into company performance.Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide detailed analysis around labor, materials, overhead, pricing, and operational performance.Lead process improvements designed to increase accuracy, efficiency, and financial controls.Mentor, develop, and hold the accounting team accountable while creating a high-performing culture.Support audits, tax activities, and other strategic financial initiatives.Qualifications6+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including leadership experience.Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting.Demonstrated understanding of cost accounting, margins, profitability, and variance analysis.Highly analytical with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to identify trends and business opportunities within financial data.Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial information to both financial and non-financial leaders.Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop an accounting team.Strong Excel and ERP system experience.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or MBA preferred.What Makes This Opportunity Attractive$100K–$125K base salaryHigh-visibility leadership positionDirect influence on profitability, costing, and strategic decision-makingOpportunity to build and improve financial processesStrong leadership role with meaningful interaction across the organizationFully onsite position in Napanee, Indiana#INAUG2026 #accounting #accountant #controller #controls #newjob #newopportunity #change #finance #leaderClick here to apply online
