Architect and drive the implementation of large-scale, distributed fleet automation services that manage millions of hosts. Provide technical leadership across multiple teams within S3, mentoring senior engineers and influencing the technical direction of the entire organization. Collaborate with other Principal Engineers and Sr Principals to solve complex, cross-cutting problems that impact S3 and AWS. Foster a culture of engineering excellence, promoting best practices in software development, testing, and operations across the S3 organization. Represent S3 in technical forums both within S3 and also across AWS, contributing to the broader tech community.About The TeamS3 Keystone provides foundational services that power AWS's largest storage fleets, managing over 2.2M hosts worldwide. We're responsible for the core infrastructure that enables AWS S3, one of the world's largest storage systems. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
