The Technical Proposal Engineer – Secondary will support the development of high-quality technical tender submissions for complex electrical infrastructure projects.This role will work closely with the Primary Technical Proposal Engineer, estimating teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to help deliver technically compliant and commercially competitive proposals.Key ResponsibilitiesSupporting the Primary Technical Proposal Engineer with the following:Reviewing technical tender requirements and assisting with technical proposal developmentIdentifying value engineering opportunities to support cost-effective project solutionsAssisting with specification and coordination of major electrical equipment in line with project requirements and industry standardsCoordinating technical deliverables including:Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)General arrangements/layoutsTechnical calculationsEquipment schedulesProject Execution PlansProviding technical support to estimating teams throughout the bid processCollaborating with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to support technically compliant submissionsManaging and maintaining technical documentation throughout the tender lifecycleRequirementsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent electrical trade qualificationExperience supporting electrical infrastructure, utility, industrial, or energy-related projectsExposure to tendering, proposal engineering, pre-construction, or project delivery environments preferredProject management exposure or experience is advantageousSkills & CompetenciesStrong understanding of the electrical contracting or infrastructure industryExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environmentProficiency with engineering software and Microsoft Office toolsFamiliarity with supply chain coordination and vendor engagement processesFlexible, collaborative, and detail-oriented approach
