Personal Care Assistant (PCA)

Looking for a PCA in Olar, SC. Responsibilities: - Provide health care services in patients residences -Perform domestic and household tasks -Transport and accompany patients to doctors office or to hospital - Administer simple prescribed medications - Assist with clients personal care activities - Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc) and report on their condition - Maintain patients care records and document provided services - Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercise -Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support Qualifications: - Ability to lift and perform heavy lifting as required - Compassionate and patient demeanor - Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately - Basic understanding of medical terminology and healthcare systems is a plus - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation - Must pass drug test Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Benefits: 401(k) Schedule: Day shift Evening shift Morning shift Work Location: In person
