What We ExpectKey Duties & ResponsibilitiesPrepare and post journal entries and maintain supporting documentationAssist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reportingPerform account reconciliations and resolve discrepanciesSupport margin analysis and financial performance reportingAssist in cost accounting activities, including analysis of manufacturing costs and variancesAnalyze inventory levels, material usage, and finished goods to ensure accurate valuationCompare actual production costs (materials and labor) against estimates and identify variancesCollaborate with operations teams to ensure accurate capture of production and operational costsSupport internal and external audits by preparing documentation and ensuring compliance with internal controlsAssist in maintaining and improving accounting processes and internal controlsParticipate in cross-functional communication to support financial accuracy across departmentsContribute to continuous improvement initiatives within accounting and financial processesWho we are looking forQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field3–5 years of accounting experience (manufacturing or cost accounting experience preferred)Working knowledge of GAAP and financial reportingExperience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office (Excel proficiency required)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and teamwork skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with cost accounting or manufacturing environmentsProgress toward CPA certificationExperience working with financial systems and databases Work EnvironmentOffice-based or hybrid work environmentCollaborative, cross-functional team settingWhat we offerTKE Airport Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
