Responsibilities:Comply with (and actively promote) all Safety policies and procedures including reporting all accidents, incidents and near misses to ensure adherence to our Number One Core Value – Safety, first in everything we do.Must be on site at scheduled start time for the Daily Huddle and Tool Box TalkMust be able to identify potential hazards and assist in maintaining a safe work environment for all Team MembersMaintain a flexible work schedule to include day/night shift work with extended hoursAble to climb ladders maintaining a 3-point contactCan perform strenuous work in varying weather conditionsAble to effectively shovel and lute asphalt and push a wheelbarrowAssist with layout of project and marking of roadway structuresEstablish and maintain positive relationship with all Team Members and supervisorsAble to operate a tack wagonAssist with MOT set up and flagging operationsAssist in the loading and unloading of tools and equipmentAssist in the backing of dump trucks in a safe mannerBe sure assigned equipment is properly maintained and kept clean at all timesAssist in daily project inspection prior to departing, to ensure work is complete with the highest quality and all cleanup is complete Qualifications:Safety and quality orientatedMaintain good health status and flexibility to bend, push, pull, stoop and/or twistAbility to multi-task; detail-orientedNecessary Attributes:Must possess the ability to adapt to different personalities and management stylesTeam player and with strong interpersonal and verbal skillsReliance on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goalsDedicated and hard workingStrong commitment to success of allPossess a strong work ethicDemonstrate the upmost professionalism in how you represent yourselfShow quality in everything you doLead with integrity while producing high quality work We offer our full-time and eligible part time team members a comprehensive benefits package that’s among the best in our industry.
