The CSR will assist the Branch Manager/Branch Operations Manager and other branch associates as needed. The CSR will also assist in daily task performance including invoicing; receiving and locating inventory, etc.CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:OperationsAccurately perform order entry process, to include product, quantity and price verificationConfirm orders placed by customers via phone/fax/internetPerform stock and price checks for customers and other branchesProvide freight/shipment information (cost/tracking/etc) to customers/branches in a timely and accurate mannerApply freight and handling expenses to orders so as to be able to effectively invoice customers for related expensesRegularly follow up with customers as to the status of their order(s)Make collection (A/R) calls/contacts as directed by Branch Manager/Branch Operations ManagerPerform other daily tasks as directed by Branch Manager/Branch Operations ManagerSales Related ResponsibilitiesPromote add-on sales at the time of order entry via the promotion of sundries and other related itemsAssist trade and showroom customers in the selection of productsAcquire a high level of product knowledge about the company’s products and be able to effectively respond to inquiries as they relate to the recommend (or restricted) useMaintain the CSR work area in an organized manner that is conducive to sales and serviceProvide support to the OSR/BCSS and Design Sales Consultant in the performance of their duties. Assist as directed by Branch Manager/Branch Operations ManagerAdditional duties as assignedCUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE QUALIFICATIONS: Time Management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities at once.
