Tube Laser Operator

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tube Laser Operator to join our team. The Tube Laser Operator will play a critical role in our production process, responsible for operating and maintaining various fabrication machines to ensure the efficient and accurate manufacturing of parts and components. Responsibilities: Machine Setup: Set up and prepare fabrication machines for operation, including loading materials, adjusting settings, and selecting appropriate tools and programs. Machine Operation: Operate fabrication machines such as CNC routers, laser cutters, press brakes, or shears to cut, shape, bend, or otherwise process materials according to engineering drawings, blueprints, or work orders. Quality Control: Monitor production output to ensure that parts meet quality standards and specifications, conducting visual inspections and using precision measuring instruments as necessary. Material Handling: Load and unload materials onto fabrication machines safely and efficiently, using appropriate equipment and techniques. Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance on fabrication machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and performing minor repairs as needed. Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and make adjustments to ensure optimal performance. Documentation: Maintain accurate production records, including job setup sheets, production logs, and quality inspection reports. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. Turn the machine off / on Understands how to follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Basic knowledge of how to read blueprints to ensure cut / hole accuracy on parts. Basic interface knowledge how to start and stop a job. Knowledge of how to kit a tube laser cart correctly according to job specifications. Knowledge of how to load material correctly into machine. Basic understanding of various material types and sizes.
