Job Title: Lead iOS EngineerDuration: Direct HireLocation: Irving, TX (Hybrid with Fridays remote)About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Lead iOS Engineer to provide technical leadership for our mobile platform. This role will be responsible for driving architecture decisions, establishing engineering best practices, mentoring team members, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality mobile applications.The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership skills and a passion for building scalable, customer-focused mobile experiences.ResponsibilitiesLead the architecture, design, and development of native iOS applications.Define and promote engineering standards, development processes, and best practices.Mentor and support iOS engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and career development.Drive technical decisions that improve scalability, maintainability, performance, and security.Partner with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and delivery plans.Oversee application performance, monitoring, release management, and production support.Collaborate with backend and platform teams to design and implement robust integrations.Champion automated testing, CI/CD, and engineering excellence initiatives.Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate.Lead technical planning, estimation, and execution across multiple projects.QualificationsRequired8+ years of professional software engineering experience.5+ years of advanced iOS development experience.Expert-level proficiency in Swift and modern iOS development practices.Strong experience with UIKit and SwiftUI.Proven experience designing scalable mobile architectures.Deep understanding of application lifecycle management, performance optimization, and App Store deployment.Experience leading engineers and serving as a technical mentor.Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, networking, and mobile security best practices.Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies.Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.PreferredExperience building enterprise-scale or high-traffic consumer mobile applications.Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and distributed systems.Experience with mobile analytics, observability, and crash monitoring solutions.Knowledge of Clean Architecture, MVVM, modular architectures, and modern design patterns.Experience working with distributed or remote engineering teams.
