In addition to being a forklift manufacturer, we are also a total solutions provider offering scalable products and services from material handling and automation to extensive fleet support.About The RoleOur Vendor Relationship Manager is responsible for building and maintaining an excellent Supply Chain for Logisnext's Service Parts business. This position builds strong relationships with our Supply Base and operational groups to ensure we operate our Parts Business efficiently, accurately, and expediently. You will work with hundreds of suppliers to drive down overall costs while improving operations by utilizing analytics and your ability to influence change with those suppliers. You will have candid discussions with suppliers about performance while developing improvement plans.What You Will DoSupplier ManagementAnalyze and discuss overall supplier performance and expectations, as defined. Identify and implement change to improve supplier performance Ensure we are partnered with the right vendorsCost ManagementEnsure the lowest possible total cost through vendor negotiations and process improvements Working closely with Logisnext production and service parts buyers Analyze part, product group, and vendor performance and identify sourcing opportunitiesGrowthEnsure product training and corporate interactions with suppliers are up to date and supportive of our overall growth goals. Ensure suppliers are viable to support the continued growth of our programCommunicationBuild and maintain positive, productive relationships between Logisnext and suppliers.
