Spa Receptionist
Job Overview
The Om Spa is seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors.
As a Spa Receptionist, you are the face of our spa. Our Spa Receptionists portray a polished and professional demeanor at all times. Spa Receptionists are friendly, courteous, and go above and beyond so each guest feels as if they’re a guest in our home. We pride ourselves in hiring quality professionals who advocate the true meaning of an exceptional guest experience and build a long-lasting rapport for guests to return again and again. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and have a welcoming demeanor.
Responsibilities
Greeting and assisting guests
Checking guests in and out and ensuring the accuracy of all transactions
Maintaining a beautiful spa, retail space, and reception area
Spa boutique, and product sales
Provide education to guests regarding our story, our spa boutique products and items, and our treatments offered for optimal results
Maintain and provide accurate and timely responses to all guest inquiries and ensuring an exceptional guest experience
Willingness to work as a team player to proactively support the spa’s needs
Attention to detail in all aspects of spa receptionist responsibilities
Greet and welcome guests in a professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
Answer incoming calls with proper phone etiquette, directing calls to appropriate personnel.
Manage appointment scheduling and maintain an organized calendar for staff.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and operating the cash register.
Assist with retail sales by providing product information and upselling when appropriate.
Skills
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude.
Experience in retail sales is preferred, with an understanding of upselling techniques.
Excellent phone etiquette with clear communication skills.
Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong organizational skills to manage appointments and stock levels efficiently.
