This firm is known for its collaborative culture, high-impact work, and commitment to advancing employee rights through strategic and sophisticated advocacy.The organization offers attorneys the opportunity to work on significant wage and hour matters alongside highly accomplished litigators in a supportive hybrid environment with remote flexibility.LEGAL OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEWThis is an exceptional opportunity for an attorney with 5 to 10 years of plaintiff-side employment litigation experience, particularly within wage and hour class actions. The attorney in this role will play a key part in litigating complex employment matters from inception through resolution, including class and representative actions involving wage and hour violations.The ideal candidate enjoys managing sophisticated litigation, collaborating on case strategy, and advocating on behalf of employees in high-stakes matters while working within a team-oriented environment that values initiative, excellence, and professional development.WHAT YOU WILL DOHandle complex wage and hour class action litigation matters from inception through resolutionDraft and argue motions, including class certification, dispositive motions, and discovery-related motionsConduct depositions, manage written discovery, and oversee case development strategyAnalyze payroll, timekeeping, and employment records to support litigation claimsCollaborate with partners and litigation teams on strategy, investigations, and trial preparationParticipate in mediations and settlement negotiationsPrepare cases for trial and support trial proceedings as neededMaintain strong client communication and advocate effectively on behalf of employeesWork collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-performing litigation environmentWHAT YOU BRINGJ.D. from an ABA-accredited law schoolActive California Bar license in good standing5 to 10 years of employment litigation experience with significant wage and hour class action exposureExperience handling plaintiff-side class action litigation mattersExperience with PAGA claims strongly preferredStrong legal writing, research, analytical, and advocacy skillsAbility to independently manage litigation responsibilities while collaborating effectively within a teamExcellent organizational and case management skillsTrial preparation and deposition experience preferredCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITSBase Salary Range: $150,000 to $220,000, depending on experience and overall fitHybrid work environment with remote flexibilityComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) program and additional firm-sponsored benefitsPaid time off and firm-recognized holidaysOpportunity to work on high-profile, impactful litigation mattersCollaborative culture with strong mentorship and long-term growth opportunitiesABOUT OUR SEARCH FIRMScion Staffing is a national, award-winning staffing firm founded in 2006.
