Social Media Marketing Specialist
OVERVIEWThe Social Media Strategist develops and supports long-term online presence, focusing on high-level strategy, campaign planning, and data-driven performance analysis to drive engagement and brand awareness.Role is 25 hours/monthRESPONSIBILITIESPosition our client as the leading healthcare provider in their category. Collaborate with our team to bring strategic initiatives to the forefront. Work side by side with creative, media, social and account teams. Lead strategic initiatives in the competitive Senior Primary Healthcare environment, positioning our client to deliver successful campaigns throughout the year. Existing primary healthcare knowledge and experience highly preferred.Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive social media strategies aligned with business goals and marketing objectives.Performance Analytics: Analyze campaign performance metrics and generate reports to optimize future strategies. Be accountable to test, learn, unique ideas, etc.Content Strategy & Oversight: Support creation of content calendars and ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms.Market Research: Understand/identify target audiences and stay updated on emerging trends and technology. Watch for trends that can be incorporated into strategic thinking and/or campaign work.Collaboration & Campaign Management: Work with designers, copywriters, and content creators on social media campaigns.REQUIREMENTSPlatform Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of major social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok).Analytics Tools: Proficiency in tools like Google Analytics and social media management platforms (i.e. Sprout Social)Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for content creation and presenting reports.Marketing Acumen: Understanding of marketing principles and digital media strategy.Education. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.Experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience in brand strategy.
