Secondary Differentiated Learning Program Teacher - Extended School Year (ESY)The District is seeking qualified and dedicated professionals to join our Extended School Year (ESY) Program for Summer 2026. The ESY program provides specialized instruction and related services to students with disabilities to support maintenance of critical skills and prevent substantial regression.Program Dates: July 6, 2026 - August 6, 2026Program Hours: Approximately 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, with the possibility of additional/fewer hours needed (advanced notice provided).All candidates must demonstrate strong collaboration skills, flexibility, and a commitment to supporting students' academic, social, and behavioral growth within a structured ESY environment.Applicants will inform the administration of any planned absences and/or vacations in advance of the summer program.* Subject to change based on enrollmentJob Description:We are seeking a positive, friendly, and well-organized Secondary Differentiated Learning Program Teacher with strong interpersonal skills to work with students for the Extended School Year (ESY) Programs. ESY programs are located at Summer Street School and Lynnfield High School.Required Qualifications:Moderate disabilities and/or severe special needs certification is required.SEI EndorsementExcellent written and oral communication skillsResponsibilities and Qualifications:Prior ABA experience working with children with academic/behavioral challenges.Provide direct academic and social/emotional instruction.Experience coordinating a team of paraprofessionals working with students throughout the school setting.Collaborate with speech and language pathologists, occupational therapists, district BCBA, and related service providers.Responsible for following the student IEP and ensuring compliance with state and federal SPED regulations, including the delivery of high-quality services, and the provision of accommodations/modifications for instruction and assessmentExperience developing/modifying social, emotional, academic curriculum, and behavioral programs for a wide variety of learning profiles.Experience working with teachers to ensure inclusive opportunities for students with varying needs.Experience with analyzing and interpreting standardized testing results.Experience with data collection and progress monitoring tools. Experience with the Autism Curriculum Encyclopedia.Experience with effective parent/guardian communication.Experience working with students with autism, social/emotional diagnoses, and behavioral challenges is strongly preferred.Performance of other job-related duties as assignedPay Range: $50 per hour
