.NET Systems Developer
This individual will provide development support to the CONNECTIONS project during development and maintenance activities to maintain New York State's Automated Child Welfare Information System for OCFS, LDSS, and Voluntary Agencies.The following are tasks that include, but are not limited to:participation in requirement and design sessionsSetting technical direction for the future of the CONNECTIONS applicationServe as a conduit between technical and non-technical staff explaining new software/controls/processesServe as technical lead for interfacing with legacy applicationsServe as technical lead for new designs incorporating WPF and WCF functionalityEstablish UI design standardsGuide team of technical staff in conducting reviews to ensure coding standards are adhered toEvaluation and selection of 3rd party software to be incorporated into Connections applicationMentor senior developers in the use of MVVM patternsMentor senior developers in the user of the pre-established development framework for the Connections applicationDeveloping appropriate system documentation.Performing reviews of other developers' checked-in WCF, WPF, and .NET code ensuring CONNECTIONS coding standards and practices are observed.84 months of experience designing, developing and supporting child welfare applications under the SACWIS or CCWIS federal regulations.72 months experience developing applications using VB.NET and .net framework 4.0 or above.72 months experience developing applications using WPF.72 months experience developing applications using WCF.72 months experience developing applications using the MVC, MVVM, or similar patterns.84 months experience using ODP.NET, SQL, PL/SQL, writing stored procedures, functions, packages in minimum version of Oracle 10g or higher.72 months experience performing regression and integration testing.60 months experience writing unit tests using Rhino Mocks.
