A skilled Physical Therapist is needed to provide outpatient therapy services through a travel opportunity in Manteca, CA. This role involves evaluation, development, and implementation of individualized treatment plans aligned with patient needs and physician directives. The ideal candidate will lead discipline-specific therapy services, ensuring functional, outcome-driven programs designed to facilitate patients' return to community activities.Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop treatment plans using clinical reasoning to achieve discharge goals within set length of stay. Delegate and supervise therapy services, maintaining compliance with physician orders and insurance requirements. Document all treatments, goals, assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charges accurately and timely. Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and colleagues, fostering a positive learning environment. Maintain professional licensure, adhere to state practice acts, and comply with regulatory standards. Actively participate in professional development and organizational improvement initiatives. Promote patient and employee safety with a strong focus on safe patient handling, infection control, and workplace hazard identification. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid Physical Therapist licensure and up-to-date continuing education. Proven experience in outpatient physical therapy with strong clinical reasoning skills. Ability to lead interdisciplinary therapy teams and manage patient care effectively. Commitment to professional ethics, quality care, and patient safety. Experience in teaching or mentoring students is preferred.
