Putting the 'Rock' in 'Hard Rock', guests are invited to experience the legends of music by exploring Hard Rock's expansive memorabilia collection with iconic pieces from SLASH to Johnny Cash!The Beverage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily supervision and operational effectiveness of bars and other related beverage outlets within the property.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesAssists with the hiring, training, development, and supervision of beverage staffPlans and organizes workloads and staff assignments as well as trains, motivates and evaluates beverage staffUpdates beverage menus and ensures all team members are properly trained on recipesDevelops long- and short-range financial objectives to liquor sales while maintaining budgeted labor and staffing levelsManages department's financial data and related documents to maintain effective cost and portion controls in the departmentWorks alongside department management to review beverage activities and implement companywide and local sales promotionsAssists bartenders and beverage servers in general duties as needed (i.e., drink preparation)Ensures guest satisfaction through constant interactions with guests and team members throughout the facilityCommunicates to management in a timely fashion of any guest compliments or complaintsMaintains and enforces compliance with applicable health, safety, food handling, and hygiene codes and standardsPerforms other related duties as assignedRequired Skills And AbilitiesDemonstrate leadership and management skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent customer service and interpersonal skillsDetail-oriented and thorough with strong organizational and time management skillsStrong and accurate money handling skillsAbility to work under stress in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge and ability to operate point-of-sale systemsKnowledge of wines, alcohol, and mixed drinks as well as gaming operations etiquetteEducation And ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredDegree in relevant field preferredTwo years of progressive experience in high-volume food and beverage operations preferredPhysical Requirements & Working ConditionsThe employee is required to stand for the duration of the shift.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit or stand; walk; use hands to finger reach, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.The employee may be required to lift up to 50 pounds.The employee may be required to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.The work environment may vary in levels of crowds, noise, and smoke, depending on the assigned station and customer volume.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or disability.
