Senior Project Manager

Our client is looking for a Senior Project Manager to work at their manufacturing facility in Irvington, NJ. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for end-to-end execution of medium to high complexity Capital and Product Development projects. This person will lead cross functional project teams, and manage the project schedule, budget, and quality deliverables with a focus on large infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership, advanced knowledge of project management methodologies, and a proven track record of managing diverse teams and stakeholders. This is a great opportunity to help build out a program with strategic growth and a culture of credibility.Monday-Friday, start time 8am (flexibility to be available on a Saturday if needed)Salary starts at $170,000/year, commensurate with experienceAnnual bonus opportunityResponsibilities to include:Lead multiple medium to high complexity large infrastructure projects.Plan and execute projects related to both capital expenditures and operationsManage cross-functional project teams.Stakeholder Management: Identify and build relationships with stakeholders, manage stakeholder expectations.Project Planning: Develop project schedules and resource requirements. Track and report on project progress.Cost Control: Manage the Project Capital, Expense and Resource Expenditures to stay within budget and ensure that the financial metrics are met.Economic Analysis: Support alternatives evaluation, variance analysis, cost calculations, etc.Communications: Develop the Project Communication Plan, lead periodic Management Level Project Reviews, Report Project Progress.Change Management: Lead change management initiatives to support organizational transformation; communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.Risk Management: Create, monitor, and control risk management plans.Monitor coordination of internal resources with appropriate department, resolve operational issues, and ensure project implementation on time, on cost, on quality.Serve as the organizational Subject Matter Expert on Project Management. Recommend and train on Project Management tools.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or equivalentPMP or Lean/Six Sigma certification preferredExtensive experience using ERP systemsExperience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power BI a plus8+ years PM experience within the manufacturing industry requiredExperience in Stakeholder management/Change ManagementProficient in project ROI analysisExperience with stage gate process in project development a plus.Proficient with managing capital asset control and expendituresYour leadership will be instrumental in delivering innovative solutions while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Your expertise will drive program development, optimize processes, and ensure successful project execution that meets scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
