Entry Level Structural EngineerAECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Entry Level Structural Engineer to join our California team. Office location is either in Orange, Los Angeles, San Diego, or Ontario, CA.This position is expected to start in Fall 2026.Job Responsibilities include:Builds analytic and design skills.Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer.Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer.Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited universityValid U.S. Driver's License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices.As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.Preferred Qualifications:Master's degree in a related studyEngineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain within a yearCoursework in structural analysis, concrete design, and steel designKnowledge in Bentley MicroStation and Autodesk Suite (Civil 3D, Revit, AutoCAD)Additional Information:Relocation assistance is not available for this position.Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
