Key features include the Zeigler Institute for Professional Development (ZIPD) for career training, Zeigler Consulting Services for leveraging the college’s expertise to serve our regional economy, and an accelerated MBA program. The college additionally serves student learning through specialized centers, including the Giuffre Center for Supply Chain Management, the Benner-Hudock Center for Financial Analysis, and a Professional Sales Center. About the Position:The Dean provides strategic and operational leadership for the Zeigler College of Business and is responsible for the college’s overall administration and performance. This includes oversight and continuous assessment of academic and instructional programs; advancement of excellence in teaching and learning, research and scholarship, and service and outreach; and leadership in budgeting, accreditation, recruitment and retention, faculty evaluation, compliance, and resource development and stewardship. The Dean serves as the chief advocate for the college, representing its interests both within the university and externally. The position carries ultimate accountability for the responsible management of fiscal, facilities, and human resources across all three campuses. The Dean leads comprehensive college planning, ensuring alignment of goals across academic, research, and strategic initiatives, and directs accreditation and assessment efforts to uphold the highest standards of quality and effectiveness. In addition, the Dean serves as a key ambassador and connector within the broader community, fostering strong partnerships with regional businesses, nonprofit organizations, and governmental agencies. Through these relationships, the Dean links community partners with the intellectual, human, and financial resources of CU, advancing the college’s impact and mission.
