Cath Lab TechUnit Notes Department: Cath Lab Tech *Certifications: ARRT or RCIS registered, BLS* NO CLINICAL INVOLVEMENT Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity. Fingernail policy: Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care- refusal to remove nails will lead to termination of contract. Driver's license required at submittal and will be used to determine if candidate is outside 50 miles.Number of suites/labs: 1Number of cases per day on average: 1-3Required Certifications: ARRT or RCIS registered, BLSExperience or 'Must have' skills: cath lab experience, doing left heart caths, stent placement, ICD, Pacemaker, etc.Common diagnoses/Types of patients: CAD, AMI, IP and OP adultsJob Duties: cath lab, scrub to assist MD, monitoring/documentation caseNumber of years experience required: 1Is previous travel experience required?: No, preferredEMR/Equipment: EPIC, siemens cath, siemens sensis, Apollo, Phillips IVUSSupervisor in labShifts & Scheduling Details: 0730-1600Do you allow self-scheduling or Block scheduling?: No, set daily schedule. Can self schedule on call to a degree.Weeknight/Call Requirements: Yes, 1-2 nights/wk Call covers 3 campusesWeekend/Call Requirements: yes, 1 weekend/monthHoliday/Call Requirements: yes, rotatingWhat is call response time?: 30 minutesFloating Requirements: Yes, as needed - will float to Lakeside & Immanuel (Omaha)Scrub Color/Dress Code: hospital supplied scrubsHow many shifts of unit/department specific orientation?: traveler will be oriented to the 3 campuses, each campus will be 1-3 days
