This entry-level supervisory role is ideal for candidates with at least two years of experience in the IDD field. The position centers on hands-on direct care while offering exposure to light supervisory duties as you grow in the role.Conducting orientation, ongoing training and supervision of 7 Direct Support ProfessionalsStaff schedulingCoordination of medical appointments for individuals supported in the programMonitoring inventory of the home’s groceries, medical and household supplies and purchasing supplies regularlyTracking and documentation of receipts and expendituresEnsuring compliance and accuracy of daily documentationEnsuring routine vehicle maintenance is performed on company vehiclesRegular communication with nursing staff on medication needs within homeProvide occasional transportation to individuals supported in the home, local travelEnsuring all aspects of the program are developed, implemented, coordinated, and monitored to the highest degree possible. QualificationsWhat Makes You a Great Fit: Minimum 18 years of age. 1-2 years of previous supervisory experience, preferably in the Human Services field. High school diploma/GED equivalent required, a two-year degree related to Human Services preferred. 1 or more years of experience working in the field of developmental disabilities To qualify candidates must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license and proof of auto insuranceCandidates must be flexible to provide on-call support outside of regular business hoursProficiency with computers specifically MS 365 and MS Office and able to quickly learn and adapt to changing technologyPerson-centered, patient, and kindDependable, adaptable, flexibleObservant and detail orientedPositive role-model for others and able to work on a teamCommitted to creating a respectful and collaborative environmentMust be reliable, flexible and possess good decision-making and communication skillsAdditional InformationWe believe in supporting not only those we serve but also each other, ensuring a collaborative and supportive work environment for all.
