Apply to connect with a Talent Acquisition Partner who can provide you more details!Basic FunctionMachine components to print specifications using manual machine tools such as lathes, mills, grinders, drill presses etc. Essential DutiesRead and interpret blue prints and follow various work instructions.Set-up and operate various manual machine tools (lathe,mill, grinder etc.) Proficient using measuring instruments and gages. Proficient using various hand tools.Ability to work well with fellow employees including active participation in employee involvement activities and problem solving. Fully support and participate in promoting safety at all times. Other DutiesMaintain clean, efficient work area. Ability to work well with minimum supervision. Education Required High school diploma or GED. Experience Required 2 years preferred but not required. Physical Skill and Effort Standing, bending, lifting objects weighing up to 30 lbs. for approximately 20 to 50 times during an 8 to 12 hr. work shift. Dexterity required includes the ability to safely work with power and hand tools. Working Conditions and Hazards Normal hazards associated with working in a metal fabricating environment. Personal protection equipment required consists of: safety glasses, steel toed shoes and hearing protection.
