Mixing & Batching Technician - Night

The Mixing & Batching Technician is responsible for operating the grinders, mixers, sifters and other duties as assigned. This is a high paced job Essential Functions/Job Duties: Help the Area Lead in preparation for shift changeCapable of performing at least 50% or more of Area Lead's responsibilitiesAbility to follow batch sheets and weigh out ingredients.Operate mixers, meat grinders, and other equipment in the departmentKeep work area clean and organizedClean and assemble equipmentPromote teamworkWork safely by following all safety standards and proceduresAttend daily trainingsAdditional duties may be assigned and/or required Personal Qualifications:Must have a desire and willingness to learnMath skills requiredAbility to work as part of a team and maintain a positive attitudeAbility to adhere to schedule work hoursMaintain proper hygieneMust be able to understand and follow verbal and written directions in English Education Requirements:High School Diploma or Equivalent Physical Requirements: Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 55 pounds regularlyAbility to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
