CNC Service Technician
CNC Service Technicians travel to customer locations, generally within 1-2 hours from home, to troubleshoot and repair CNC VMC's, HMC's and turning centers.
Job Qualifications
Candidates must have the ability to read and communicate in English, have basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. In addition, candidates should have a wide mix of skills from the following list:
Willingness to learn
Knowledge of mechanical / electrical repair practices
Troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Ability to read parts manuals, electrical and mechanical schematics, assembly instructions, and troubleshooting guides
Familiarity with operating and setting up CNC equipment
Communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Valid driver’s license
Work Environment
Industrial shop environment with exposure to manufacturing machinery, heights, varied temperatures, high noise levels, moving components, grease, dirt and sharp objects.
Physical Demands
Numerous times daily, position requires standing, walking, climbing, bending, stooping, crawling, and lifting 30-50 pounds.
