This executive role is pivotal in ensuring the performance, safety, and reliability of the facilities, as well as leading CAPEX planning and maintaining commercial alignment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership, managing multi-site operations, and implementing standardized procedures across the fleet. Hands-on engagement with plant teams, conducting on-site visits, and coaching plant leadership to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement are also key aspects of the position. Applicants for the Head of Operations role at the company should have 10-20 years' of experience in power generation, district energy, utilities, industrial energy systems, or critical infrastructure operations. Deep technical expertise in relevant energy generation systems is essential, with a preference for candidates holding a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in district energy/CHP operations leadership, strong operational rigor, and be a champion of safety culture. Executive presence, tactical execution ability, and a relationship-driven leadership style are also important, as the role involves close collaboration with external O&M partners and internal stakeholders.
