Daycare Teacher Positions (Full-Time/Part-Time) Chubby Cheeks Early Education Center Delaware, Ohio Are you passionate about working with children and have experience in early childhood education? Chubby Cheeks Early Education Center in Delaware, Ohio, invites you to apply for our full-time or part-time Daycare Teacher positions. We currently have openings in our infants, toddlers, and preschool classrooms. Qualifications: A minimum of a High School Diploma is required; a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential is preferred. Previous experience in teaching young children is a must. The ability to implement the Creative Curriculum. Ability to independently manage a classroom. Excellent communication and instructional skills. Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms. Responsibilities: Develop and implement creative lesson plans appropriate for preschoolers. Use a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media, etc.) to teach and engage children. Observe each child to support their social development and build self-esteem. Encourage positive interaction among children and help resolve occasional conflicts. Guide children in developing artistic and practical skills through a well-structured curriculum (e.g., identifying shapes, numbers, colors, crafts). Organize nap and snack times and supervise children to ensure their safety. Monitor and track children's progress, providing regular updates to parents. Maintain open communication with parents to understand each child's background and needs. Collaborate with other educators and staff to create a cohesive learning environment. Ensure that the classroom remains clean and meets health and safety standards. Skills: A genuine passion for children and early education. Ability to mediate and resolve conflicts among children.
