Pay Rate: $66,560 starting salarySUMMARY: To provide leadership to the Beverage Department staff and support to the Beverage Operations Manager in all areas of operations. Responsible for a high level of guest service. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESLead daily department operations with direct supervision of supervisors, bartenders, bar backs and casino wait staffCommunicate service goals and operational priorities in each pre-shift briefing to ensure consistent understanding and delivery of expectationsSupport hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and continuous development of team members to ensure alignment with Treasure Island's service standardsCreate, maintain, revise and provide direction regarding training manuals, policy/procedure manual, and job descriptionsEstablish and uphold quality, service and cleanliness standardsRegularly review inventory levels, labor utilization, and ordering needs to meet demand while maintaining financial controlsMonitor and enforce compliance with policies, regulatory requirements, and responsible alcohol service practices (TIPS-certified), administering corrective actions as appropriateAddress guest questions, complaints or concerns in person and through GuestXResolve staff and guest issues effectively to sustain a positive, productive workplace and positive guest experiencePartner with the Beverage Operations Manager to analyze POS data and financial reports to control costs and improve performanceCash handling and age-restricted beverage serviceKNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIESKnowledge and Certification Required:3-years supervisory experience leading large teams in in high-volume, multi-outlet beverage operationsStrong working knowledge of beverage service standards, compliance requirements, and responsible alcohol service lawsExcellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities that foster teamwork and accountabilityPreferred:Prior experience in a casino or resort environment with multi-bar operationsFamiliarity with guest satisfaction metrics or loyalty tracking systemsExperience using data to evaluate service performance or financial outcomesPrevious experience with MS Excel, MS Word and computerized point of sale systemSkills Required:High attention to detail and accuracy in reporting and compliance trackingExcellent organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced, high-volume settingClear written and verbal communication that supports team clarity and guest satisfactionStrong problem-solving and decision-making under pressureEffective leadership with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop diverse teamsPreferred:Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and WindowsAbilities Required:Perform efficiently and accurately in a fast-moving, high-volume hospitality environment.Present a professional image and demonstrate strong interpersonal courtesy toward guests, team members, and managementAssist in managing budgets, labor planning, and operational expenses to achieve financial targetsLead multiple projects and tasks independently, maintaining a calm, solution-oriented approach under pressureDeliver clear and confident communication when interacting with teams and guests alike.Ability to speak in a clear, concise and pleasant voiceREQUIRED TRAININGTreasure Island WAVE guest service trainingTIPS training and certificationBloodborne Pathogens trainingServe Safe CertificationAGYLSIS TrainingEffectively Handling Harassment trainingAny position-related training as determined by department managerPHYSICAL DEMANDS Must be able to walk and / or stand and sit for long periods throughout the dayMust have a good sense of balance and be able to bend and kneelMust be able to push, pull and grasp objectsMust have the ability to independently lift up to 25 pounds infrequentlyMust be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motionsMust have good eye hand coordinationWORKING ENVIRONMENTOffice, restaurant, gaming floor and convention center environment including flashing lights, frequent loud noises and cigarette smokeMust be willing to work a flexible schedule including all shifts, weekends and holidaysExtensive computer useOccasionally must deal with angry or hostile individualsOccasionally overtime may be requiredHigh volume direct public contact
