Job Title: Training CoordinatorContract Duration: 1 year, possible extensionLocation: Itasca, ILWork Arrangement: OnsitePay Range: $25 - $30 per hourSummaryThis position processes transactions in the Learning Management System (LMS) per company training programs while supporting day-to-day training operations. The role exists to provide additional support while full-time staff focus on an LMS system upgrade.Primary responsibilities include managing LMS transactions, responding to training-related requests, and supporting training operations. Project implementation experience may be required for initial plan design and enhancements, including executing testing and providing feedback on system changes.ResponsibilitiesProcess LMS transactions including training assignments, rosters, certifications, external training, and training plan changesMonitor help desk inbox and respond to training-related questionsDeliver training and facilitate group learning in diverse settingsDesign learning interventions to meet defined business needsWork with management to define organizational objectives and assist in course designExecute testing and provide feedback on LMS system changesAttend daily team touchpoints and collaborate with internal stakeholdersRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree (5+ years) in a learning, technical, or closely related discipline, or sufficient practical and transferable experience to demonstrate equivalenceExperience processing transactions in an LMS, document management, or change management systemStrong communication and customer service skills (including support for leadership)Proactive communication and collaboration with team and stakeholdersUnderstanding of human learning concepts and experience designing learning interventions to meet business needsAbility to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goalsPreferred QualificationsExperience with SmartSolve LMSExperience creating or updating training materials or documentsInstructional, teaching, training, or team leadership experienceMicrosoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Experience with SharePoint, Power BI, and Power AutomateIndustry experience in medical or pharmaceutical environmentsSystems & ToolsSmartSolve LMSMicrosoft TeamsOutlookMicrosoft Office Suite
