Job Title: Mechanic** AFTER APPLYING MESSAGE MEREDITH @ 513-229-2009**Job DescriptionAs a mechanic, you will play a critical role in installing and assembling equipment on work trucks, including beds, plows, tool boxes, mud flaps, crane holders, ramp holders, and tail lights. This position involves reading blueprints and work diagrams to install hydraulic equipment and parts, performing testing and inspections, and wiring as needed.ResponsibilitiesInstall and assemble equipment such as beds, plows, and tool boxes to work trucks.Assemble and bolt truck boxes and install mud flaps.Mount crane holders and ramp holders on trucks.Install tail lights and perform wiring as needed.Read and interpret blueprints and work diagrams.Perform testing and inspections on installed equipment.Essential SkillsAt least 2 years of mechanical aptitude in fields like auto, diesel, military, industrial mechanics, or machine building.Ability to read blueprints or work instructions.Proficiency in using hand, power, and air tools.Ownership of basic hand tools including sockets and SAE socket sets.Ability to lift 50 lbs and read a tape measure.Additional Skills & Qualifications12V Wiring experience is a plus.Why Work Here?Experience stability with a company that has been in business since 1848. The work environment resembles a mechanic bay, which can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter.
