CNC Swiss Machine Operator

Job Summary:Setup and operate CNC swiss lathe machines to fabricate production parts.Reporting To:Shift Supervisor and/or Director of OperationsEssential Job FunctionsSetup and operate CNC swiss lathe machines.Trouble shoot and diagnose machine performance and ensure produced parts meet specification.Make appropriate offsets and adjust tools.Read and interpret blueprints.Properly use calipers, verniers, and thread gauges.Properly and safely load and unload machines.Perform daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on machines.Perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.Utilize and abide by all safety procedures.Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions.Skills and AbilitiesEffectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbal and writtenProblem-solving skillsAttention to detail with precision equipment and productsAbility to perform basic mathematical computationsAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentEducation and ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED required.
