MEP Revit BIM Designer

Work Setting: HybridHazen and Sawyer is seeking a MEP Revit BIM Designer to be based in our Tampa, Hollywood, Fort Myers or Orlando, Florida office. This is a hybrid position (3 days a week in-office, 2 days remote).Why Hazen And SawyerFounded in 1951 by the son of Allen Hazen (developer of the Hazen-Williams equation), we are an employee-owned company with a singular focus on "all things water."Our work includes planning, design, and oversight of construction of environmental infrastructure – for water, wastewater, and stormwater management.We foster a work environment low on bureaucracy and high in creativity.We recruit talented professionals, provide them with challenging, interesting, and creative assignments, and furnish them with the tools they need to succeed.We currently have over 2,400 employees in 90+ offices throughout the United States, Latin America, Canada, and the UK.A flexible hybrid work schedule supports today's busy professionals.Key ResponsibilitiesCreation of Revit models, Revit families, and CAD base files for use in creating contract documents.Ability to design piping layouts in Revit to produce enlarged plans, sections, and details for various process mechanical systems.Coordinate with other disciplines (Site Civil, Structural, Architectural, HVAC, Electrical, and I&C) to help resolve design conflicts and challenges.Executing redlines from Engineers and senior CAD/BIM Designers.Ensure drawing compliance with company and client CAD standards.Ambition to learn, communicate effectively, and collaborate with other designers.Required QualificationsCompletion of a technical school with CAD design certificate or Associate’s degree with emphasis on Revit MEP preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience using Revit MEP and AutoCAD required.
