On-site at Alpha's Houston, TX campuses — Central Houston, South Houston, or The Woodlands (relocation assistance available)$100,000 annual salary paid weekly, with health, dental, and vision coverage starting day oneThe kindest thing you can do for a student who reaches 99% of their target is to refuse to call it complete. If that expectation unsettles you, this position is not the right fit. If it energizes you because you understand that maintaining high standards shows a student you believe in their ability to meet them, continue reading.Alpha operates differently than conventional schools. Students complete a full day's worth of academics in roughly two hours using adaptive software. No traditional lectures. No physical textbooks. Your responsibility is what technology cannot deliver: developing life skills in Pre-K through 8th grade students — skills like public speaking, concentration, and constructive feedback exchange. You will spend half your time facilitating hands-on workshops using prepared playbooks and narrative techniques. The remaining half involves working with students individually or in small groups, analyzing their progress through adaptive learning platforms via Coachbot analytics, and driving them toward achieving 100% of their weekly objectives. Students demonstrate mastery through Test2Pass assessments rather than participation-based grading.During your first year, you will manage a student cohort and become fluent in Alpha's operational framework: life skill workshops, motivational coaching, and mastery-based evaluation. Once you demonstrate the ability to hold every student accountable to 100% goal completion while maintaining satisfaction scores above 90%, advancement to Lead Guide becomes possible — a role where you mentor other Guides while continuing direct student engagement.
